Fiano (anciently known as Fiano Minutolo)
The Fiano (anciently Fiano Minutolo) is a low yield white aromatic grape. Autochthonous of Puglia, it has a small leaf penta or trilobed, a medium- narrow cluster, medium-small ellipse grapes. The skin is hard, gold yellow coloured with ambered nuance. It has a medium strength and prefer cleyey- chalky soil. The ripening is in the first days of september.
The Fiano Minutolo, has risked to disappear in the past, but, in the Valle d’Itria it has found new life and new cares.
