Sauvignon
The Sauvignon (as known as Sauvignon blanc) is a white grape that comes for the Bordeaux area in France. The name come from the French word sauvage (“wild”), because his origins are autochtonous. It is one of the most spreaded grapes in the world, that give a typical varietal charateristics.
The bunch is medium-small, cylindrical, with little wings, the berry is medium-large with depth-green-gold coloured skin.
Depending of the climate, the grapes can give to the wine, nuances of herbs and fruit. The wheater and the terroir affect the ageing-attitude of the wine.
