The secular tradition of  Cantine MIALI rises  from the generous land of Apulia, land of shady woods, of amid bright “trulli” and old farmsteads. A special collection of wines, merges the ancient experience of making special wines with the love for the traditions and the typical arts of this lands.

Here, our founder Elvino Miali in 1886 begun the cultivation of the vineyards under the sign of the passion. Ancient tastes that “tell” about soil, history and life.

Nowadays the 4th generation of the Family with Michele, Francesco and Marcello, brings forward the common target of increasing the diffusion of the Apulian wines due to a continuous technical update, looking for the total quality and the care of the detail.

The grapes of Verdeca, Bianco d’Alessano and Fiano Minutolo are cultivated by few selected winegrower tracked directly by our winemaker during all the year, to guarantee, during the harvest, the product at its best condition and maturation.

From the vineyards managed in the Northern Salento (Francavilla Fontana, Latiano and San Pancrazio) and in the Province of Taranto (Torricella, Sava and Maruggio), the Chardonnay and the black grapes (Primitivo and Negroamaro) come from.

Few other grapes are acquired from different areas, in a range of maximum 60 km from our cellar, but with the same philosophy: importance of the autochthonous grapes and new attention to their quality such as the white grapes of Valle d’Itria and the international Chardonnay and Sauvignon.
